Getz Healthcare Việt Nam đã trở thành nhà phân phối chính thức của Cellomics Hong Kong vào đầu năm 2023. Đây nhà sản xuất các máy móc và vật tư sử dụng cho công nghệ sàng lọc tế bào ung thư tự do trong máu và các ứng dụng, đã đạt chứng chỉ CE IVD.

Các phương pháp chẩn đoán ung thư truyền thống chủ yếu dựa vào chẩn đoán hình ảnh và sinh thiết mô, với huyết thanh học là công cụ chẩn đoán phụ trợ. So với chụp ảnh, CTC có thể phát hiện sự hiện diện của ung thư hoặc chỉ ra nguy cơ tái phát sớm hơn. So với sinh thiết mô, CTC có ưu điểm là không xâm lấn và có thể được xét nghiệm nhiều lần. So với huyết thanh học, phát hiện CTC có độ nhạy và độ đặc hiệu cao hơn đáng kể. Đặc biệt đối với những bệnh nhân tái phát lâm sàng và những người không thể sinh thiết mô, phát hiện CTC là phương pháp xét nghiệm duy nhất và cần thiết.

Ngày 21 tháng 8 năm 2023, Getz Healthcare Việt Nam đã hợp tác với Bệnh viện Bạch Mai, bệnh viện đầu ngành của cả nước, đặt một hệ thống máy tách và phát hiện tế bào ung thư trong máu CTC100 của hãng Cellomics để chạy thử nghiệm mẫu. Đây là lần đầu tiên công nghệ CTC được thực hiện tại Việt Nam. Quá trình chạy thử 48 mẫu diễn ra thuận lợi. Sau đó, bệnh viện sẽ thực hiện đánh giá và làm báo cáo trình Bộ Y tế phê duyệt công nghệ mới. Hy vọng công nghệ này sẽ sớm được ứng dụng rộng rãi trong xét nghiệm để góp phần nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ khám chữa bệnh cho bệnh nhân.

In early 2023, Getz Healthcare Vietnam became the official exclusive distributor of Cellomics Hong Kong. Their instruments and reagents for blood-free cancer cell screening technology and applications have been CE-IVD certified.

Traditional cancer diagnostics mainly rely on imaging and tissue biopsy, with serology as an auxiliary diagnostic tool. In comparison, CTC can detect the presence of cancer or indicate the risk of recurrence earlier than imaging. CTC also has the advantage of being non-invasive and capable of multiple testing, unlike tissue biopsy. Furthermore, CTC detection offers significantly higher sensitivity and specificity compared to serology. CTC detection is especially crucial for clinical relapse patients and those unable to undergo tissue biopsy, as it is the necessary testing method.

On August 21, 2023, Getz Healthcare Vietnam collaborated with Bach Mai Hospital, the country's leading hospital, to conduct a demo and testing of the Cellomics CTC100 instrument. This marks the first implementation of CTC technology in Vietnam. The sample running process went smoothly, conducting 48 tests. Following this, the hospital will validate the technology and report to the Ministry of Health (MOH) to obtain approval for this new technology. Hopefully, this technology will be widely applied in testing, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment services for patients.
