On December 16th and 17th 2022, Cho Ray Hospital held its first Paraclinical Conference with the theme: "Application of artificial intelligence and new techniques in diagnosis and treatment". In this conference, Getz Healthcare Vietnam cooperated with Vela Diagnostics as a bronze sponsor, and we were honored to have participate in a sharing session to discuss gene sequencing technology with the participating doctors.

According to MSc Nguyen Vu Hai Son, Cho Ray Hospital has been equipped with Vela Diagnostics' NGS system based on Ion Torrent PGM technology, also known as semiconductor ion technology. Ready to implement target gene panels designed specifically, sequencing the whole genome or the target gene depending on the research needs, especially the genetic polygene studies in cardiovascular diseases, blood clotting, diabetes, and neuroendocrine diseases.

This is the first NGS system of Vela placed in Vietnam that Cho Ray hospital, the biggest hospital in the south, is considered the best reference site.
